DESCRIPTION:
1ST Day: Departing from Rome via climate controlled deluxe motor coach north you will pass through three of the most beatiful Italian regions, Latium, Umbria & Tuscany. Expected arrival in Florence is about 11:30 AM. You will first go to Piazzale Michelangelo for a fantastic view of the entire city, then on to the famous Ponte Vecchio. Continue to the historical center for freetime, shopping and sightseeing. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will have a guided visit on foot to Santa Croce square to see the church where Michelangelo and Galileo are buried. Next a stop at a leather factory and a visit to the Museum of Accademia where you will see Michelangelo's famous statue of David. The walk continues to the Piazza della Signoria where you will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its beautiful Dome by Brunelleschi, the Baptisty & Giotto's Bell Tower. Dinner at your Expense. Remain overnight in 4 Star Hotel.
2ND day: Breakfast in Hotel. Enjoy the day for personal leisure time, shopping and sightseeing. Lunch at your own expense. At approximately 5:00 PM you will depart for Rome with arrival about 9:00 PM, traffic permitting.
