St Peters Basilica & summer papal blessing (at Castelgandolfo)

WHEN:
Sunday mornings in July & August: Free pickup at your hotel or the SOS Center from 8:15 to 8:45 PM. Free return to Hotel or nearest location. Dress code for all religious buildings in italy: no bare shoulders, halter tops, short skirts or shorts allowed. Failure to observe these rules may result in your exclusion from these facilities.

DESCRIPTION:
Your deluxe motor coach tour begins with a drive through Villa Borghese, Rome?s major city park, then across the Tiber River to St. Peter?s Square, with a short stop to admire the Basilica. Then its back along the Tiber River, Tiber Island, the Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla and the old Appian Way which takes you to the town and summer residence of the Pope: Castelgandolfo. Here you will see the Pope up close and personal and attend one of his famous Papal Audiences. (Don?t forget to bring your camera). The Pope blesses all who are in attendance as well as any religious articles you may care to bring with you to this event. Religious articles bought in stores are not blessed. Note: There is no charge for admission to Papal Audience.
